This is a question that we get asked a lot who makes the filters for Mercedes, BMW, Audi Volkswagen. Well there are different companies that make filters. In this particular case as we can see these two filters are almost identical. The only difference from filter to filter is the stamping on the name from the OEM which stands for “Original Equipment Manufacturer” to the Mercedes-Benz one. This is a company that Mercedes hired to make the filters for this particular engine these filters are identical to each other than on the labeling owner so this filter will perform exactly like the one that you can buy the dealer but it costs less because there’s less people that have to get pay in the process. They don’t have to make the filter to put it on a Mercedes Box go on a distribution center and to your local dealers. The same thing applies with these BMW filter this is a particular filter from man this is an OEM- Original Equipment Manufacturer as you can see comes to the seals and gaskets that you need to do the job. This will be the exact same filter you will find on the BMW box.

We’re also asked the questions to many times about brake pads as well as brake rotors. Brake pads and majority of them are made by Tech Start which is the company that does the brake pads for Mercedes and BMW and other German manufacturers are OEM- Original Equipment Manufacturer. On the rotors most of the companies make their own discs however there are several good brands out there like Zimmerman, Tech Start and Akebono that make rotors that will perform perfectly well with your German vehicle.

Hi, this is Alex with Dealer Service Alternative in Orlando Florida. I’m going to show you how to synchronize or program the door lock remote on a BMW key.

These are new keys that do not lock or unlock the vehicle yet. You will lock the vehicle from the inside. Place one key in the ignition, turn on and turn back off. Pull the key out. And while pressing the unlock button and holding it you will press the logo or the lock button three times.

If you have a separate key you do not have to put it in the ignition again. You just continue to repeat the door lock button sequence on the additional keys.

You may also want to try to do this over your right-hand shoulder because the antenna set up on the back last of the vehicle. [Alarm] You probably heard the door locks confirming that the computer has already synchronized the key.

And this is it guys keep an eye out for more videos from Dealer Serviced Alternative in Orlando Florida.
